March 5, 2013 - Letter to Dad

Yeah, I have noticed that as I come closer to Christ,  I start recognizing him more in me.  We have about 6 people we just put on date for baptism too!  I am really enjoying my mission so much.  Ogden is the best mission in the world....I dont care what anyone says!  It is!  There are some weird people here though.  The other day we were in the gas station and some old man had a younger kid with him and the kid was like ....hey missionaries and we started talking to him and the grandpa was like those mormons are all crap..  The book of Abraham...hahaha yeah right.  And so we were just like...ok?  And we went up to pay and I started talking to the cashier and tried to set up a lesson to start teaching her the discussions but she was an active memebr already :)...but the little kid was like whats the book of mormon?  and so I was like its the coolest book out there, and the old man was like ...The book of mormon is a bunch of bull sh*&!  I just started laughing because I couldnt hold it in...and he told me I was a rude little sh*& and then he walked out.  The workers were at the gas station and they were like, don't you just love awkward moments?  Yeah...that really happened.   Crazy Ogdenites!  They're everywhere.  I just got a letter from Brett and Ady...her advice was super helpful too!  Anyway...things are going super good and Melton lives in the basement of his less active sister and her family, and now they are coming back to church!  I have to be quick today...because I have to go....but I gave mom all the details on everything else...so make sure she shares that all with you guys !!

I love you Dad, keep up the awesome work you do...and get those cabinets done!  haha
