March 19, 2013 - Letter from Dad to Mason and Letter back to Dad

Sorry, got the name wrong. That's what Mom told me. Now it all makes sense right. Michael sent us the pic of you guys, told us the story behind the picture pretty cool. I'm sure you will do fine leading. It can feel awkward at times but that's when we are growing. I know it can be tough taking the lead, I've been there. And I also know what is even tougher than that....trying to do it all yourself.  "Pray as if everything depends on The Lord and work as if everything depends on you." I can't remember what prophet said that but I've never forgotten it and it has always worked for me. I'm praying for you everyday. I know The Lord will bless you and qualify you for his work as you continue to be obedient. The greatest blessings and experiences are yours to have some of which have already happened and The Lord will not leave your side as you faithfully gather his sheep. I promise you that. Just relax and do your part and don't worry about the rest. Heavenly Father sees your efforts. He well bless you with success in his way. Keep working hard and just remember this regarding your comp....people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. I'm proud of you say hi to your comp for me he seems like a great guy. Love you.

I know...I was so excited to get called and invited to this special st patricks day dinner thanks to mike and becca.  They said they loved them and mike was just so helpful to their daughter and they loved hannah too.  They said she was just the sweetest girl and very nice!  The dinner was sooo good.  Thank  michael and becca for me haha.   Yeah it is tough right now and my companion is not very obedeint at all, and the work is slowing down because of that.  But i am just trying to set a good example for right now and hopefully he will see that and accept it.  I have to be quick today...but check mom's email for all the big updates haha.  Thank you so much for that quote!  I was very excited to get it.  Thank you for all of your support and I hope that you have an awesome spiritual week !  Love ya
